THE REPORTING RULE PERIOD


The " reporting period rule " to determine " work packages " This rule states, that no work package should be longer than a standard reporting period. Thus, if you make weekly status reporting, no work package should be longer than a week in length. This helps to eliminate work package status that are 73 percent or 38 percent done; work packages will only be reported as started ( 50 percent done ), not started, or complete (100 percent), if a work package using this rule is started and is on the " not-complete " list for more than two reporting periods, we can know and tell " Houston " you have a problem to solve.
